Melanie Maas has been a registered massage therapist providing quality massage therapy treatments for ten years. Melanie has been serving the Caledon and surrounding area for 6 years. She has a special interest in sports related injuries, MVA injuries, child and teen, pregnancy and infant massage, as well as treating for anxiety and chronic pain. As a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario (CMTO) and an active member with the Registered Massage Therapy Association of Ontario (RMTAO), Melanie is interested in the new trends and treatments of the profession.
Melanie has also volunteered her time at sporting events, treated in the Palliative Care Unit at Toronto East General Hospital and in St. Michael’s Hospital HIV clinic to improve her client’s quality of life under such circumstances. Melanie also instructs interested clients in the art of infant massage having done infant massage instruction since 2006. She sees the importance of regular massage treatments both to adults and children, as well as addressing deep issues within the tissues to maintain optimal health and decrease pain. Melanie will refer outside of the clinic to numerous healthcare options in the community i.e. chiropractic, physiotherapy, acupuncture, etc… to help you achieve optimal health. She lives in Bolton with her husband and 2 children and enjoys an active lifestyle of running, camping, hiking, learning new skills to improve her practice, etc.
